Old Timers Hockey League
Greater Portland Old-timers
Hockey League (GPOHL) was formed for the benefit of all adult (age
35+) hockey players.
All teams play with similar rules which
include no checking, no slap shops and without referees.

Casco Bay Hockey Association
A youth hockey program for
ages 5 - 18. Age divisions skate approximately twice a week
including both practices and games.
Break the Ice, Initiation,
Mites, Squirts, PeeWees, Bantams, and Midgets are divisions within the
program and are broken down by birth date.

Greater Portland Women's
Ice Hockey League (GPWIH) is a non checking, recreational league
developed by women ice hockey players for women ice hockey players.
We are open to players of all levels ages 18 and over.

Portland Pirates Hockey
Portland Ice Arena, along
with the Cumberland County Civic Center, are practice facilities for
the NHL Buffalo Sabres AHL affiliate Portland Pirates.
Pirates home games are played at the Cumberland County Civic Center.
The Pirates have enjoyed a
relationship with Portland Ice Arena from their inception in 1994.

High
School Hockey
Portland Ice Arena is home
ice to five local high schools. Portland, Deering, Cheverus,
South Portland, and Cape Elizabeth all call PIA "home". Games
are played on Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoon/evenings from
December to February. Most schools include a Junior Varsity and
middle school age program.
